As a young girl I believed that my passion was pharmacy, so trained as a clinical pharmacist and worked in hospitals helping people. However, 10 years ago my life took a sudden turn when my son shared that he was gay. Although I accepted his affirmation with love I was very concerned about what the impact would be on his life. How would this be received by his friends and our family? Would it impact his career? And how would he be able to express love and intimacy in front of people… at the time it felt like a difficult path and I was full of fear for him.

I began researching, buying books and asking him questions that I thought were relevant but I was in fact going down a spiral. I became depressed, anxious and my mental, emotional and physical health were a complete mess. My life was breaking down with so much pressure. Our family dynamic had changed. There were misunderstandings and miscommunications. To try to help overcome these challenges, I began receiving RTT® hypnotherapy. 

RTT hypnotherapy transformed my thought patterns as well as my emotional and physical state.
It helped me remove blockages and reframe my relationship with my son. The process was so revolutionary that I decided to train as a RTT® hypnotherapist and make the big quantum leap into the unknown. It wasn’t easy to go beyond my comfort zone but I was driven by a deep desire to help people overcome the same or similar issues and to use my expertise to serve my community. 

It didn’t happen overnight but over time I arrived at the powerful conclusion that mindset is key. I have helped others  overcome mountains of fear, navigated emotional roller coasters, restored health, happiness, relationships, self esteem, acceptance and most of all Self Love.

I found my purpose better yet my purpose found me and I am grateful for the opportunity that I have had in this life of being part of people’s lives.
